America's Best Colleges 2008 - Top 50 Ranked American Universities
Here it is. The US News and World Report's annual listing of America's top 50 ranked universities. Over the year's, the list has created some controversy due to its ranking criteria, but make no mistake, these rankings are aggresively used as a marketing and recruiting tool by listed colleges.
Still, many feel that the list is a useful tool when combined with other data and ranking services like the Princeton Review for determining which schools provide the best fit for each individual student.
